Privacy policy

At Remote and Talent we help companies find talent for remote jobs and help professionals find those jobs. To do that we process personal data, and this policy explains which data, what for, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights. We wrote it so you don't need a lawyer to understand it.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Remote Tech Solutions SL (Tax ID B44602423), located at Carrer d'Aribau 168, 1.º 1.ª, Barcelona (España), which operates the Remote and Talent platform (remoteandtalent.com) and its own recruitment tools, such as Hirem0.

For any privacy question, write to [email protected].

2. What data we process

If you sign up as a candidate:

If you haven't signed up but are a potential candidate: our recruiters and tools may identify you for a specific job using professional information you have made public yourself (for example, on professional networks): name, headline, experience, education, skills, languages, a link to your profile and, sometimes, a work email. Section 5 explains how we handle this data and how to object.

If you represent a company or are a recruiter: name, email, phone, company, job title and the information about the jobs and processes you manage.

From any visitor: technical data such as IP address, browser, device, the pages you visit and, if you accept them, analytics and advertising cookies (section 11). In our emails we measure whether they are opened and which links are clicked.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

4. Who we share your data with

We don't sell your data or pass it on to third parties for their own marketing.

5. If you haven't signed up: potential candidates

When we look for candidates for a job, we may process professional information you have made public. We use it to assess whether you fit that job (sometimes with the help of artificial intelligence), to write to you about it, and to know whether you opened the link we sent. If you are not interested, just tell us.

In our first message we tell you who we are and how to object. If you object or ask us to delete your data, we delete it and keep only a protected fingerprint (from which the data can't be recovered) of your email and profile, so we don't add you as a potential candidate again. If you had also unsubscribed from our emails, we keep that unsubscription so we can keep respecting it. You can do this by writing to [email protected] or, if we have your email, from the data deletion page.

6. Artificial intelligence and automated decisions

We use artificial intelligence to read CVs, calculate a match percentage between a profile and a job, prepare reports and transcribe interviews. This information helps recruiters sort and review applications, but we don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing: a person always makes them. Before sending a CV to calculate a match, we remove the email, phone number and links. You can ask us for an explanation, express your point of view or object to this processing.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of our providers, particularly for artificial intelligence, analytics, advertising and security, may process data outside the European Economic Area, such as in the United States and other countries, some of them without an adequacy decision from the European Commission. Where possible, these transfers rely on adequacy decisions (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses, and in every case we limit the data we send to what each task strictly requires. You can ask us about the applicable safeguards at [email protected].

8. How long we keep data
DataPeriod

9. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw your consent without affecting anything done before.

If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

10. Minors

Remote and Talent is an employment platform for people aged 18 or over. We don't create accounts for minors; if we detect one, we delete it.

11. Security and cookies

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, role-based access control, abuse limits, pseudonymisation of technical data and retention periods. No system is infallible; if an incident affecting you occurs, we will notify you when the law requires it.

For the cookies we use and how to manage them, see the Cookie policy.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a relevant way, we will let you know on the platform or by email before the change applies. Current version: 2026-09-11.

Terms of use and legal notice

1. Site owner

The remoteandtalent.com site and its associated tools belong to Remote Tech Solutions SL, Tax ID B44602423, located at Carrer d'Aribau 168, 1.º 1.ª, Barcelona (España). Contact: [email protected] · +34 657013708.

2. Acceptance

These terms govern the use of Remote and Talent. By creating an account you expressly accept them, together with the Privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. What Remote and Talent is

Remote and Talent is a platform that connects companies with professionals for remote jobs. It offers job posting, application management, recorded video interviews, technical tests, candidate profiles and reports, and recruitment tools assisted by artificial intelligence, including Hirem0. We also show jobs from other job boards: in that case, applications are sent to the job's original platform. If you own one of those jobs, you can ask us to edit or remove it by writing to [email protected].

4. If you are a candidate
5. If you are a company or a recruiter
6. Fees and renewals

There are no refunds or credits for partial months of job listings. Listings renew monthly and the client must manage the automatic renewal of each job. The first payment is non-refundable. Renewal payments are refunded, no questions asked, if requested within seven (7) days; in that case only transaction fees are retained.

7. Acceptable use

You may not: extract data from the platform in bulk or by automated means, use bots or create accounts in bulk, impersonate other people, send spam, try to access other people's accounts or data, test the system's security without authorisation, or use the platform for unlawful or discriminatory purposes. We may limit or block access for anyone who does.

8. Suspension and closure

We may suspend access immediately if we detect a risk to the security or operation of the service, or a breach of these terms. Preserving security, confidentiality and data comes first, and a suspension for these reasons is not a breach on our part. You can close your account at any time.

9. Intellectual property

Remote and Talent's design, software, trademarks and own content belong to us or we are licensed to use them. The content you upload (your profile, your jobs) remains yours; you allow us to display and process it to the extent needed to provide the service.

10. Warranties and liability

We do our best to keep the platform working well, but we provide it as is and we don't guarantee that a hiring process will end in a hire. Companies are solely responsible for their jobs and their hiring decisions. To the extent permitted by law, our liability towards a client will not exceed what they paid for the affected service. Nothing above limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a relevant way, we will let you know on the platform or by email before they apply, and we will ask you to accept them again. Current version: 2026-09-11.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Barcelona, unless you act as a consumer: in that case you may go to the courts of your place of residence.

If any clause is declared void, the rest remain in force. Not exercising a right does not mean waiving it.
