Python Engineer (Asynchronous & AWS Specialist)

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Engineer to join our backend infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-concurrency systems, leveraging your deep expertise in asynchronous programming to optimize performance and scalability. This role requires a robust understanding of backend architecture beyond Python, ensuring our services are resilient, secure, and efficient. Your daily work will involve architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as Lambda, ECS, and SQS to handle complex data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement microservices, optimize database interactions, and ensure our asynchronous event-driven systems operate at peak efficiency. You will be expected to contribute to code reviews, mentor junior developers, and participate in architectural decisión-making processes. The ideal candidate brings over five years of professional backend development experience. You must be comfortable working in a distributed environment and possess the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish, as you will be working with international stakeholders and technical teams across different regions.
